PT South East Asia Pipe lndustries (SEAPI) is a manufacturer of LSAW steel many pipes used in oil and gas transmission. Established in 1996 on 23.5 hectares of land and strategically located near the Bakauheni Port, Lampung, SEAPI has obtained API 5L and ISO 9001 certification. With a maximum of 250,000 tons/year production capacity, the Company aims to support the energy industries in the region.
Made to the most stringent standards, the world class pipes SEAPI products are available up to an X80 rating including ASTM and APl, and up to DNV Subsea specification for both local and international major clients, such as Pertamina, Perusahaan Gas Negara, McDermott lnternational and Conoco Phillips.
The company has supplied pipes for major subsea pipelines namely the 250km 28” North Sumatera - Singapore pipeline and the 160km 32” South Sumatera - WestJava (SSWJ) ll pipeline.
SEAPI is the third steel pipe mills owned by PT. Bakrie & Brothers Tbk. SEAPI produces Longitudinal Double Submerged Arc Welding (DSAW) pipes, with diameter from 24" to 48", wall thickness up to 32 mm and length 12.2 m maximum.
